Where can I get help with selling my products on Amazon?

Just as with many of life’s other questions, when it comes to Amazon, you can find a great deal of useful information simply by searching online. There is now a wealth of websites, YouTube videos, online Amazon courses, and much more, all offering a wide range of knowledge about selling on Amazon.

Whether you have already set up your own seller account on Amazon Seller Central – which is essential if you wish to sell your products on Amazon – or you are still in the exploratory phase and simply considering whether Amazon could be a good sales channel for you and your business, there is always help at hand. Below, you can read about the different options available to support you – both before and after you become a seller on one of the world’s largest international online marketplaces: Amazon.

Amazon Seller Support

As an Amazon seller, if you face a challenge or have a question that requires Amazon’s assistance, you can open a case with Amazon Seller Support. To do this, log into your Amazon Seller Central Account and click the “Help” button. This takes you to a page where you can first describe your issue. Based on your description, you’ll be presented with a handful of main topics to choose from, depending on your enquiry. Next, you will be directed to an FAQ section, where you might find an answer to your question. If you do not find anything useful in the FAQ, you can choose to open a case by sending your message directly to an Amazon support representative. You can expect a response within 24 hours, but typically you will receive a reply the same day. Sometimes, you may also have the option to start an online chat with a representative, or – as an alternative to written communication – request a callback from an Amazon employee.

Amazon Seller Forums

As an active seller on Amazon, you may easily encounter situation-specific challenges for which you do not know the answer – and cannot simply find the solution online. For this purpose, Amazon has created the so-called Amazon Seller Forums. Here, Amazon sellers can create threads with specific questions and attach screenshots, links, or other relevant material, in the hope of receiving helpful suggestions from other sellers or from an Amazon support representative, who may also participate in the discussion. Even if you do not yet have your own Amazon Seller Central Account, you can still access the various forums to get an overall impression of the types of challenges you might face if you become an Amazon seller.
